ARC’TERYX, the technical leader in outdoor performance apparel and equipment, proudly announces its #defineFEMININE contest – a spring campaign dedicated to the female consumer and their pursuit of outdoor adventure.
Starting today, April 15th, and ending May 8th, active women have the opportunity to nominate a woman in their life who inspires them in the outdoors and defines ‘feminine’ with everything she does. Four winners will be invited to attend an all expenses paid trip to Vancouver, British Colombia for a week-long Arc’teryx West Coast adventure that includes climbing, kayaking, and bouldering in the place where these women belong.
Arc’teryx will be presenting various women involved in the Arc’teryx community who embody the spirit and inspiration of adventure including a designer, an athlete, a product manager, and a writer. Each strong, driven and feminine, performance is paramount for these women. They demand more from themselves and from their equipment.
To participate in the #defineFEMININE contest, outdoor women are invited to nominate a friend who inspires them through their commitment to adventure, to pushing personal limits and their enthusiasm for being outside. Specific entry instructions can be seen on the contest website along with #defineFEMININE videos that explain the essence of the contest.
A panel of judges will choose four of the nominated females on May 11th as contest winners, who will depart Saturday, May 23rd for Vancouver where they will then fly via float plane to Quadra Island, off the Eastern coast of Vancouver Island. Activities will include climbing, bouldering, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking among breathtaking views and beautiful beaches.
In addition, everyone is invited to join the campaign by using the hashtag #defineFEMININE when sharing their outdoor pursuits socially.
