On Thursday, October 24th SheJumps and Arc’teryx kicked-off a regional partnership for a three-part educational series in Seattle. The first event, Backpacking Basics, was led by Ellie Norris, Assistant Store Manager at Arc’teryx. This class was the first all-female event at the Arc’teryx US flagship store!
Ellie discussed the proper gear and clothing needed for various conditions in the Pacific Northwest. She talked about Arc’teryx’s layering system for clothing, while providing tips to make every overnight backpacking experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The evening concluded with a raffle for an Arc’teryx pack! Daniella sure is one lucky girl…
We are excited to announce our second in-store class of the series. We will be hosting “Rock Climbing 101” on Thursday, November 14th at 8:00p.m. Come hang out with an awesome group of women and learn everything you need to know about Rock Climbing – there will be swag bags, refreshments, and another raffle!
