WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
The ideal clothing allows for unrestricted movement and comfort while skiing or snowshoeing. Dress in layers to allow you to quickly and easily regulate your temperature. Modern, breathable fabrics such as polyester, nylon or wool blends breathe well and don’t absorb sweat. Avoid cotton as it will keep you cold once it gets wet.
Make sure to wear or bring clothing that will protect you from the elements: a cold wind or wet snow can quickly chill and unprepared skier. A light shell jacket and pants shield you from inclement weather and allow you
to add or remove layers as necessary. Sunglasses are also helpful on bright days to cut the snow’s glare. Bring gloves and/or glove liners for use during your outing. Wear warm wool socks.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Always bring a light backpack to store water, a high-ener gy snack, lunch and extra layers, a yoga mat (there are a few available to borrow-please ask Tracy or Brittany)
