It was a beautiful bluebird day to celebrate the 5th annual Get the Girls Out at Stevens Pass Mountain Resort. Women and girls came together to enjoy a day of fun both on and off the mountain.
The day was filled with fun events from start to finish. Tutu-making kicked off the morning along with filling snacks from our partner, Cliff. Attendees then gathered for a group photo before the shredding began! Women either joined a freeride clinic or skied and rode with others of comparable ability levels. There was even one brave woman who joined us for her first day on skis!
In the afternoon, Stevens Pass Ski Patrol led a beacon backcountry demonstration while the Snow School led an “Introduction to Park Skiing” session. The avalanche dog even joined in the fun for demonstration.
We closed the day with an incredible raffle with tons of great items from our partners, including K2 Skis, Smith, and more.
It was a great day had by all!
