Get the Girls Out! is almost here, and we’re counting down the days until we hit the slopes, explore new trails, and build an unforgettable community in the outdoors. Whether you're joining us for a ski day, a hike, or planning your own GTGO adventure, this guide has everything you need to know.

Step 1: Find Your Event

Each official Get the Girls Out! event has its own Eventbrite page, where you can register and get the full itinerary, location details, and any special instructions. Be sure to sign up ahead of time—space may be limited!

Step 2: How to Prepare

GTGO is all about community, fun, and making the outdoors feel welcoming to all. Here’s how you can get ready for an amazing experience:

Invite your friends! Events are better with company.

Dress for the weather—layers are your best friend.

Sign your waiver before you arrive to speed up check-in.

Wear something fun! Costumes, bright colors, and festive outfits are encouraged—but please be mindful to avoid anything culturally appropriative or insensitive.

Check the Eventbrite page for any specific gear recommendations or details for your location.

Step 3: Maximize the Fun Factor

GTGO is about play, connection, and trying new things. Here’s how to bring extra joy to your experience:

Make a new friend. Whether you’re flying solo or coming with a group, GTGO is a great place to meet like-minded adventure buddies. Say hi to someone new!

📸 Capture the moment. Take photos, but also take time to soak it all in. Don’t forget to tag @SheJumps so we can share your adventure!

🎿 Try something different. Join a group ski/ride session, test out a new trail, or challenge yourself in a way that feels exciting. This day is about having fun at your own pace.

Step 4: Share the GTGO Magic with the Media Toolkit

Want to spread the word about Get the Girls Out!? Our GTGO Media Toolkit makes it easy to share graphics, social media captions, and SheJumps branding to help bring more women into the outdoors. Volunteers, attendees, and supporters alike can access it!
