As new members come across our page, I wanted to lay out some easy steps to follow to get involved. The Southeast is brand spankin’ new when it comes to the world of organized SJ events. I don’t want this to be a deterrent for anyone to get involved – this is an amazing opportunity to become a key driver of our mission in the region. There’s a lot of amazing women in the SE and we’re working to connect them all and create a strong, growing network. If this sounds like something you’d like to be a part of, follow the simple steps below!
1. Contact me! I love to hear from new members and ladies looking to get more involved. Send me an email at cristy@shejumps.org and we can talk about what’s going on in your area and how you can get involved. I’ll also be the go-to person if you’re looking to set up an event in your area.
2. Join the Clubhouse This is a great place to connect with ladies from your area and set up “Clubhouse” events. You can find me on there and connect with other ladies from our region (and your state) by doing a few searches. If you’re looking for anyone to join you in a hike, looking for some outdoors advice, or just want to connect with like-minded ladies this is a good place to start!
3. Invite your friends Let’s get as many girls involved as we can! The best way to create a strong local presence is by being a SheJumps advocate in your area. Tell your friends about the organization and have them join the Clubhouse too.
I’m really excited about the the future of SJ Southeast and am looking forward to getting to know you all via email, phone, and events! It’s been great hearing from all you ladies who have reached out so far. Keep it coming!
