Meaghann Gaffney is one of the SheJumps Pacific Coast Regional Co-Coordinators and at 19 she is doing more than most people do by 40. She is an avid backcountry skier living in Glacier, WA, skiing as much as the snow will allow. Last month she found out she had been invited by Girls Do Ski to join them on January 17, 2015 for the Girls Do Ski 20 Under 20 in Revelstoke, Canada. Way to go, Meaghann! The 20 Under 20 program invites twenty female freeskiers under the age of twenty to share their skills, passion for skiing and to learn from each other. It is guided by current professional female freeskiers that most of the invited ladies look up to.
This is a great opportunity for Meaghann and we couldn’t be more stoked. This is what SheJumps is all about, getting after it! Hopefully this experience will help guide her to her goal in the mountains as she will be attending Montana State University for Snow Science, striving to become an avalanche forecaster and a guide for a heli operation.
