Wondering what SheJumps is all about? Join us on Overlook Mountain for a fall hike on October 4th and to learn more about our mission to increase female participation in outdoor activities. Ladies of all ages are welcome! (Four legged friends are welcome on this hike as well)
Located in the scenic Catskill Mountains, Overlook is a moderate, 5 mile round trip hike on a carriage trail. Near the top we will encounter the ruins of the Overlook Mountain House, which are a sight to see! In addition to the ruins, the summit is home to one of five remaining fire towers in the Catskill Mountains. We will also venture over to the ledges for beautiful views of the Hudson Valley, Ashokan Reservoir, and the Central Catskills.
