The 4th annual Get the Girls Out at The Nut was another great success with approximately 30 women and young ladies gathering to support SheJumps while having fun skiing and riding at Virginia’s Massanutten Resort. Ladies from as far west as Roanoke, as far east as Tappahannock and as far north as Baltimore, Maryland drove several hours to meet fellow Southeast jumpers for a beautiful bluebird day. This event, geared toward camaraderie and togetherness, was not only an enjoyable opportunity to get women out on the mountain, but also proved to be a successful fundraiser for the national non-profit.

The ladies started their day catching up with friends new and old while everyone checked in. The first 20 participants to arrive took home yummy goodies from our national partners at Treeline Coffee Roasters and Eco Lips. After everyone booted up, we gathered for a quick group shot before hitting the hill to make some long awaited turns.

The conditions were great, especially considering the rollercoaster winter the Southeast Region has been having.
There was no shortage of smiles as the ladies made their way back to the bottom to the lodge for an après ski party and raffle at the Base Camp umbrella bar.
