On Thursday, November 14th, 2015, SheJumps partnered with evo for a ladies night event. A night filled with mingling, education, wine, cheese, chocolate and shopping. Truly, a ladies paradise.
evo’s staff of women’s buyers marketing mavens and store crew all joined us for a truly awesome night. As one of the attendees mentioned, the vibes were “an opposite of the Seattle freeze”.
There was about an hour to mingle, grab some drinks and snacks, learn about evo’s merchandise and shop. Throughout the event, Kara and Rachel, evo’s buyers chatted with ladies on the latest trends. The attendees also got to meet Ashley, head of evo’s volunteer force, Sunny, evo’s marketing manager and Zerene, head of the ladies store crew. What a team! Each of them had kind words to say about SheJumps, sharing stories of how they learned about the organization. It is awesome to see events like this bring different women together to share their thoughts and passions! Big shout-out to evo for hosting, supporting our mission and always being a great partner of ours here in the Pacific Coast Region!
As part of the night’s event, evo raffled off a North Face jacket to a lucky gal. Bethann was incredibly stoked as she mentioned that her previous puffy jacket had just gone out of commission.
After the social activities, all of the ladies gathered around the tuning/waxing table. Big Thanks to Dane Stephenson of Leading Edge Sports for providing the knowledge and educational component to ladies night. He gave a thoughtful and detailed clinic, engaging the audience when questions came up.
As the night wrapped up, we didn’t want it to end. It was great to see old faces and new, catchup with old friends and make some news ones. Snow has started falling up in the mountains and ski resorts around the Pacific Northwest are getting ready to open. Winter is here! Mt. Baker opened yesterday with Crystal Mountain on track to open tomorrow!
Now that winter is here, join us at evo on January 7th for the next event for NWAC Avy Awareness.
