Tutus are the perfect way for women to explore their inner spirit. And they are a favorite accessory for Get the Girls Out events! By adding this extra touch while on the slopes, trails, or other outdoor arenas, we’re reminded to not take ourselves so seriously – it’s impossible to have a bad time when you’re wearing a tutu! And this promotes the SheJumps mission of increasing female participation in the outdoors.

SheJumps is all about having fun while empowering women to get outside, try something new, and push their personal limits. But at the end of the day, every girl should be laughing because she had an amazing time. And what better way to remind yourself to be silly and have fun than by wearing a tutu. The simple act of wearing some tulle helps to remove the competitive nature of sports and harness a collaborative and encouraging environment for women to Jump In, Jump Up, and Jump Out.
After all, living in and amongst a strong outdoor community, the majority of active people encountered are men. But girls are just as active and want to feel tough, strong, and empowered. Many girls are caught trying to balance their tough, outdoorsy side with their feminine side. We’re here to tell you that you don’t have to choose! The great thing about about being an athletic woman is you you can be tough as nails, while still feeling like a woman. So throw on that tutu, get rad, and celebrate being a girl! You are always pretty while playing, but by adding a tutu you add a sense of flair.
