Tis’ the season for giving and, playing in the snow! SheJumps is proud to have kicked-off an awesome fundraising campaign on #GivingTuesday to help get more young girls outdoors and educated! We kicked off the Wild Skills fundraising campaign this #GivingTuesday to help fund our Wild Skills camp, which will teach young girls basic outdoor skills including how to use a compass, read a map, practice “Leave No Trace,” and rock climb. Your donation will make a huge difference, and here are 5 reasons why you should donate to our Wild Skills campaign this month:
1. Wild Skills is for the next generation. It is important we invest in this generation now with valuable outdoor skills to carry with them and then to also pass on to future generations.
2. Donating to a cause you believe in makes you feel good! Even if you can only donate a few dollars, or you are willing to sponsor a young female through this program. Any level of support is fantastic.
3. Your donation goes a long way. The Wild Skills campaign doesn’t just help She Jumpers in your area, but as a nation wide non-profit, we plan to have Wild Skills camps all over the US.
4. Donate and get cool stuff! That’s right we want to reward you for your donation. Thanks to a number of awesome partners, there are many awesome gifts we’d like to offer for certain donation amounts. Check out the hoody from Flylow, or the chapstick from EcoLips.
5.Your support matters. As a volunteer run non-profit, we rely on support from people like YOU! Our programs wouldn’t happen without the help of our ambassadors, regional coordinators, team of directors and local volunteers, but also your financial support. Your donation goes strictly to the Wild Skills program, and more girls will get outside because of you!
Join us during this month-long campaign so we can send as many young girls as possible to a Wild Skills Camp. Please share with your friends and family to help us reach our goal of $25,000 by the end of the month. Thank you for your support!
